Welcome Visitors!

For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith -- and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God -- not by works, so that no one can boast. -- Ephesians 2:8-9

Who are We? Start Here

East Richland Evangelical Friends Church has ministries encompassing something for everyone. Our mission statement is: Redeem the Lost, Train the Redeemed, and Exalt Christ in all we do. At Friends Church we are really interested in helping people come to know Jesus in a personal way. We would love nothing more than to help you do that.

At Friends Church being friendly is more than just a name. We would love to have you stop in on and join us for one of our Morning Worship services at 8:15, 9:30, or 11:00 a.m. When you join us for the first time, please stop by the Welcome Center (located in the church foyer before entering the sanctuary) and receive a nice gift and a pack of information that will tell you about the many ministries that we offer.

Sunday Mornings are focused on one of our pastors “rightly dividing the word of truth.” The same message is preached in all three services. However there is a different flavor in each of our three services.

8:15am is a Traditional service. There the music is lead by a song leader and the music consists mainly of hymns and more traditional choruses. There is also special music each week consisting of the choir, an ensemble, or a soloist.

9:30am is our Contemporary service. The music is lead by one of our worship teams. The music focuses on a little more modern worship music. It is common for people to join in with clapping or raising hands in this service.

11am is also a Traditional (mixed) service but the atmosphere is more some place between the traditional and the contemporary service.

Nursery is provided during all three services. Children’s Ministries are available during the 9:30 and 11am services. The children attending the 9:30am worship are then released to go to Super Church half way through the service. Youth Ministries has their morning service time in the Friend Center at 11am. For more information on our nursery, children’s, or youth ministries please go to the appropriate link under ministries.

Adult Bible Fellowships (ABF’s) meet during all three hours offering a variety of topics, types of groups or teachers. We encourage everyone to get involved in an ABF. Check out the Adult Bible Fellowship link under the ministries.

Again we encourage you to check out all our ministries. There are a variety of ministries striving to reach out to a variety of people. There are ministries for ages birth to Primetimers (our vibrant seniors ministry). Check out the Sports ministries, Christian Outdoorsmen (hunting, fishing, hiking), Bible Studies and Small Groups for Men, Women, Singles, and our Marriage Enrichment Seminar. Celebrate Recovery helps people with their hurts, habits, and hang-ups. Divorce Recovery helps people through one of life’s greatest struggles.

We would like to thank you for visiting our website. We hope to see you Sunday Morning or anytime through the week. If you have any questions about our ministries or our beliefs, please contact us at 740-695-0971 or erefc@eastrichlandfriends.com and we will do our best to assist you in a timely fashion.

Philippians 3:7-14

  • Coming to Christ - what does it mean to have a personal relationship with Christ?
